The construction industry in Montana is booming. New home construction, shopping centers and industrial parks, energy infrastructure development and many other construction projects are ongoing throughout the state at a fast pace.
Despite this boom, builders and other construction employers are having a hard time hiring qualified workers in all the construction trades. There simply aren't enough people to fill all the jobs. This employment shortage has created the need to promote the opportunties available to young Montanans and others wanting to learn a skilled trade, or switch careers into the construction industry.
